Secondary Suites - Water and Electrical

Quick question, regarding Secondary suites (Duplex). I`m considering the purchase of a R2 zoned bungalow. I`m also considering adding a Secondary suite (developed basement) to this unit for additonal revenue. Do I need to add a separate/second Water meter and a second Electrical box ?

No. Not for a ceondary suite.
You will need to upgrade the electrical entrance if it is currently 60 amps.

Just make sure you do have a strategy in place to divide up utilties and ensure they`re being paid.
