I`m looking to buy another property here right away, when the right one comes along. Could anyone tell me what the rental markets are like now in Edmonton and Red Deer? Are they still relatively strong?

Thanks everyone and have a great Easter weekend!

Red Deer keeps chugging along. I get good rents, have well maintained properties and continue to be 100% full. It also helps to have a good working relationship with my management Co. Others tell me vacanies are increasing they are adjusting rents and implementing incentatives. Without doubt there is a enlarging down turn but I don`t think it is quite as significant as many other Alberta areas. The house for sale signs are are sprouting up more rapidly(spring thing). As Don says it`s buying time. I`m looking for another 4 plex, so far they are still pricy. We know there is one "hay stack" with a needle embeded in it, just got to find it.

As for Edmonton, I don`t live there, consequently, can`t put the input into the Management Co`s. Plus all my Edmonton units are in rental pools, harder to control. That`s the way I buy out of town. But I am having some Edmonton rental challanges.
