I've always wanted to start a business but I never really followed my passions. I was in the computer field because it pays well. I liked it but it's not something I would do if I were not paid for it.

Whereas looking at houses , seeing the potentials , meeting people and thinking could they be potential renters, investors, joint venture partners, clients is something I have integrated in my lifestyle.

All my computer background is really helping me in this real estate business. I can do websites, I understand databases which can really help get organized, I have a general knowledge of business, I have my Real Estate License so I can write offers and have good negotiation skills. Lately I took a course and the teacher was warning the students that on that day there would be a lot of Maths. Until then I guess I had never really realized I'm not afraid of Math and can understand formulas, analyze graphs etc... That can come really handy when one wants to achieve a positive cash flow and wants to make sure to stay on budget when doing renovations.

This year I celebrated my first 50 years and I'm looking forward to be financially independent by my 60th birthday
